Our COVID-19 Policy

At all times, we will comply with WA Health recommendations. Beyond that, this policy (like improv) is a living document. At the time of writing, our policy is that:

Core Staff, Board, and Contractors:

In alignment with our commitment to Provide Safety, we expect that all paid employees, contractors and Board members are double vaccinated.

Classes, Workshops and Tasters:

We note that classes and workshops are an environment in which some risk of transmission is unavoidable. This article on the ABC is helpful in determining how you consider risk when participating in social activities like improvisation.

• All teachers are expected to double vaccinated.

• Classes will begin with a boundary check-in where participants will be allowed to share their own personal boundaries and approach to risk.

• Until further notice, we have a flexible refund policy: If you feel unsafe attending classes for whatever reason, or are diagnosed positive for COVID-19, we will offer a refunds without prejudice provided you email us (hello@othcomedy.com) within 24 hours of classes commencing.

• We will seek out well-ventilated venues, where possible.

Performances:

• Most of our performances are held in public venues, so we will adhere to the same set of restrictions as the venue.

Masks:

• We will follow the mask-wearing requirements as established by WA Government.

• At the time of writing, masks are not required in classes or performances.
